Put First Things First - By Dhruv Patel XC
Greetings, readers! Hello and welcome to my corner of the internet. I’m Dhruv Patel & I have recently read an incredible book that transformed my perspective, I felt compelled to share its insights with you.
The famous book is called “The 7
Habits of Highly effective people” written by Stephen Covey It lucidly explains
that transformation doesn’t happen overnight, persistence is the key, we need
to start by focusing on one habit at a time and gradually incorporate the
others. With dedication and practice, these habits can become second nature,
paving the way for sustained success and personal fulfillment.
The Habit that captivated me the
most was “Put
First Things First” which highlights importance of prioritizing your
tasks based on importance, not only on urgency.
Let’s delve into its significance
and practical applications to transform your life, Captivating, isn’t it?
In this fast-paced time, the
hustle is never ending, in a rush for our goals we forget to opt for healthy
lifestyle choices, personal development sometimes we also forget to spend time
with our families, Agreed?
What makes it so difficult for us
that we ignore these most important aspects of our lives.
I guess you have the answer, yes,
it is the poor time management & focusing only on urgent activities &
ignoring the important once.
Please remember that these
important activities if ignored now can magnify & become urgent someday,
let’s understand this with an example.
Having a bad-life style due
professional commitments or laziness can gift you long term health problems,
solution is simple you need to spend only 30 minutes of your day which is 1/48th
part your entire day on exercising & meditating, which will set a positive
tone for the rest of day & life.
By dividing life’s activities by categorizing them with their importance & urgency can help oneself manage things effectively.
I hope you enjoyed reading &
are eagerly anticipating the next post, in the meantime enjoy reading!
